JOHOR BARU: Architecture lecturer Dr Tareef Hayat Khan does not just teach – he sings as well and has recorded an album with 12 original songs, five of which are in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and English.

The 46-year-old from Bangladesh has been working in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) here for the past six years along with his wife, who is also a lecturer.
