DEVOTEES and workers involved in the removal of the rudraksha tree at the Maran Temple which fell over were surprised to discover a 30kg black stone at the bottom of the tree, Tamil dailies reported.
The 200-year-old tree which is considered the centre of the temple was uprooted during a thunderstorm on Tuesday.
