Police announce transfers and promotions of senior officers

PETALING JAYA: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced the promotion and transfer of several senior officers effective May 16.

In a statement issued on Saturday, IGP secretariat corporate communications chief Datin Asmawati Ahmad said in a statement that Bukit Aman Special Branch principal assistant director (E3) Deputy Comm Datuk Khariri Jaafar will take over as Bukit Aman Special Branch Deputy Director (2) .

Bukit Aman Special Branch research and secretariat division principal assistant director Deputy Comm Datuk Rosly Abas will take over from DCP Khariri as Bukit Aman Special Branch principal assistant director (E3).

Penang Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad will take over as Johor deputy police chief with the rank of acting DCP.

Bukit Aman Special Branch principal assistant director (E7) Senior Asst Comm Datuk A Rahman Ahmad will hold the new rank of acting DCP.

Special Task Force on Organised Crime (Stafoc) special tactical squad 1 (Crime) deputy commander Senior Asst Comm Datuk Razarudin Husain will take over as Penang CID chief.  

Kelantan CID chief Asst Comm Ahmad Taufek Abdullah will taking over as Special Task Force on Organised Crime (Stafoc) special tactical squad 1 (Crime) deputy commander with the new rank of acting SAC.

Home Ministry National Key Result Area (NKRA) division deputy secretary Asst Comm Marzuki Kamaruzaman will take over as Bukit Aman Special Branch principal assistant director (E7) with the new rank of acting SAC.

Kelantan deputy CID chief (operations/intelligence) Supt Mohd Fakri Che Sulaiman will be taking over as Kelantan CID chief with the rank of acting ACP.

Jakarta MPLO Supt Naaim Yazid Md Saaid will take over as Jakarta SLO ACP with the new rank of acting ACP while Bukit Aman Special Branch E4A1 Supt Mazmi Osman will be taking over as Bukit Aman Special Branch staff officer (E4A) with the new rank of acting ACP.
