Gang brawl in Sungai Buloh prison ends in fatal stabbing

PETALING JAYA: A brawl between two groups at the Sungai Buloh prison ended with a man being stabbed to death with a sharp weapon.

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Mohd Rozi Jidin said the fight broke out in prison between two gangs at around 12.30pm on Saturday.

“The deceased was in his 20s. He was involved in a kidnapping case.

“Two inmates stabbed him in the back with a sharp weapon,” he explained.

The post-mortem will be conducted on Sunday.
