Spotlight on school security guards

Some of the 200 pupils of SJK(C) Keat Hwa (S) together with their parents were seen waiting outside their school as they were locked out.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry says it is time to reassess security companies for schools.  

Deputy Education Minister Chong Sin Woon said this in response to Thursday’s morning incident after striking guards of SJK (C) Keat Hwa (S) in Alor Setar locked pupils and teachers out.
