PETALING JAYA: A homegrown literacy programme aims to tackle the problem of secondary school students who are illiterate when it comes to the English language.
Charis Ding, a secondary school teacher in Sungai Petani, came up with the MY Readers literacy programme in 2014 as part of her second year initiative when she was a fellow with Teach For Malaysia.
