PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has advised those wanting to organise religious talks to consult authorities to avoid any controversy and public outrage.
He said organisers should get the views of the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) in choosing a theme or title that is appropriate while the Home Ministry’s green light is needed to invite foreign speakers.
