Religious teacher who threw chair at students sacked

ALOR SETAR: The Education Department has terminated the service of the part-time religious teacher who injured three female students at a government religious boarding school in Baling by hurling a plastic chair at them.

State Education director Datuk Azuyah Hassan, on Wednesday, said the action was taken after the department held discussions with the principal of Sekolah Model Khas Baling and the Parent-Teacher Association.
