GEORGE TOWN: Two men were spared the noose after a High Court acquitted them of three drug trafficking charges involving more than 23kg of drugs.
Judicial Commissioner Datuk Azmi Ariffin acquitted and discharged unemployed Ooi Kean Wah, 47, and oil palm trader Fiteli Mohamat Saaidin, 46, at the end of the prosecution’s case without calling for their defence.
