MyDeposit home ownership scheme kicks off


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) said a contribution of 10% of the sale price or a maximum of RM30,000 (whichever is lower) will be given to first-time house buyers to help them buy units priced at RM500,000 and below.

"Applicants can apply for the scheme online starting tomorrow (April 7) through the National Housing Department website, which is under the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry," he said in his speech after chairing the National Housing Council Meeting Series 4 at the Parliament building here on Wednesday.
