WHILE censorship is needed for television and films screened in the country, too much censorship could also be bad for society, says Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed.
He said censorship is important to prevent scenes depicting violence, sex and deviant teachings from influencing people. Such content breaches the criteria set by the Film Censorship Board (LPF).
