Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

BERA: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic) claims that former Proton Holdings Bhd chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad "interfered" in every move to rationalise the national car company, resulting in its inability to expand and caused it to sustain losses.

The Rural and Regional Development Minister hoped the former prime minister's voluntary resignation would put the company on stronger ground and start chalking up profits in the future.
