The Government has given an assurance that the Social Security Organisation (Socso) will not take over any troubled company following the passing of the Employee’s Social Security (Amendment) Bill 2015.
The Bill was passed in the Dewan Rakyat after two days of heated debate as sub section 74 (a) gives Socso the power to establish or take over a company.
