PETALING JAYA: A conman who has been impersonating a police officer to cheat victims out of RM373,750 has been arrested.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) said the conman's modus operandi was to contact families of detainees and pretend to be a police officer promising to release them for a price.
