‘Set up unit to curb teen drug addiction’

PETALING JAYA: A special task force should be established by the authorities to curb the increasing number of students arrested for drug peddling and abuse cases.

“The Education Minister should head the special task force, which should include representatives from the police force, National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), parent-teacher associations (PTA), Malaysian Drug Prevention Association (Pemadam) and Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF),” said MCPF senior executive council member Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
