KUALA LUMPUR: Another piece of plane debris, suspected to be from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, has been found in Mozambique.
This is the third item found in the country since last month, following the discovery of two plane debris - a piece of skin from a horizontal stabiliser and a white chunk of metal.
The two debris - which had been sent to Australia for analysis were found to be “almost certainly from MH370”.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pix) said Malaysia was informed of the discovery on Monday but it was too early to ascertain if it was from MH370.
“We first need to check if the debris is from a Boeing 777,” he said on Tuesday.
No further details were available.
