SHAH ALAM: Former Selangor mentri besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo (pic) has been released on parole after serving half of his one-year prison term for corruption and, for the next two months, will be restricted here and Petaling Jaya.
According to a close friend Ab Jalil Backer, Dr Mohd Khir’s wife Zahrah Kechik, 50, signed the necessary documents at the Parole Centre in Meru, Klang, earlier Tuesday before picking him up.
