Budding talent: Yaashinii will debut at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday.

SEPANG: Dragging along her bright pink “pet” suitcase named Trunki, six-year-old Yaashinii Kalai Vasudavan boarded her flight to London and was all ­excited to visit England for the first time.

The young Malay­sian pianist, who won the top prize in the piano junior ­category of the Grand Prize Virtuoso inter­national music competition, will debut at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
