KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek (pic) says he was not aware that the misappropriation of funds worth RM107mil in the Youth and Sports Ministry was going on while he was leading the ministry in 2010.
He said that as minister he had no direct connection with the division secretary level, which makes up the middle level of the ministry, as he always dealt directly with the secretary-general, deputy secretary-general and director-general.
