PETALING JAYA: Several areas in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur will experience water disruption due to upgrading of equipment by Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).

Consumers will be affected during the 20-hour temporary disruption from March 29 to March 30.

The upgrading is part of ongoing efforts to improve the water distribution system.

"The restoration of supply to various locations varies from 12 hours to 72 hours, depending on the distance from the water storage facilities,” said Syabas corporate communications head Amin Lin Abdullah.
