Court sets May 10 and 11 for Awie’s trial


KUALA LUMPUR: The Magistrate's Court here Monday fixed May 10-11 for the trial of Malaysian rock singer Awie (pic) who is charged with voluntarily causing hurt to his former wife, two years ago.

Magistrate Husna Dzulkifly set the dates after deputy public prosecutor Ahmad Zikri Jaafar told the court that the accused was still waiting for a reply to his letter of representation.
