‘Uphill task in helping the stateless get citizenship’


GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government seems to be fighting a losing battle in trying to help stateless people here get their Malay-sian citizenship, Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy said.

“I’m disappointed with the National Registration Department. They are not being helpful and are making the whole application process more difficult,” he said.
