JOHOR BARU: Johor police have urged local authorities to not renew licences of family entertainment outlets in the state in efforts to weed out illegal gambling activities.
State police chief Comm Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said that licences for most of these outlets statewide, issued by local councils, would be expiring by June this year.
