Organisers of Bersih 4, red shirt rallies yet to settle clean-up bills


KUALA LUMPUR: Organisers of last year’s Bersih 4 and Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu (red shirt) rallies have yet to settle the clean-up costs charged by the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry.

“They have not paid for the clean-up costs, which are RM64,955 for Bersih and RM38,214.70 for the red shirts,” said its Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (pic) in a written reply to Teo Kok Seong (DAP-Rasah) Thursday.
