RESTAURANT operators, especially roti canai sellers, have been urged not to increase their food prices despite the removal of government subsidy for the 25kg bags of wheat flour.
Guang Ming Daily quoted the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin as saying that even without the subsidy, prices should only increase by two sen for each piece of roti canai.
