MALAYSIA’S trusty Fire and Rescue Department has had a unique case – instead of putting out a fire or getting rid of a wayward snake, the team had to rescue a drowning monkey from a drain.
Jaffariza Ismail jumped into the drain when he saw the monkey struggling in the metre-high drain. The primate suffered a broken leg after it was knocked by a car and fell into the drain while crossing Jalan Ling Kai Ching in Sibu, reported Berita Harian.
