PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has significant mineral reserves and has the potential to generate an estimated value of RM235 billion, said Natural Resource and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (pic).
He said the country's total mineral production in 2014 amounted to RM7.39 billion, an increase of 6.81% compared with RM6.92 billion in 2013 due to increased production and higher prices for mineral commodities in the global market.
