Court grants MAIWP's application to intervene in Sidang Injil Borneo case


KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) has been allowed to be a party in the judicial review proceedings filed by Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB) to challenge the seizure of religious books containing the word "Allah".

High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Hanipah Farikullah on Tuesday granted an application by MAIWP to intervene in the judicial review as a party.
