GEORGE TOWN: An advocacy group has suggested that the ancillary Runnymede Hotel complex buildings in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah be restored for its significant historical value.
George Town Heritage Action co-founder Mark Lay said the recent demolition of several buildings on the site was unacceptable as it was the residence of Stamford Raffles.
