BSN customers to face temporary disruption of specific services


PETALING JAYA: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) customers will not be able to perform over the counter and online services for financing or loan repayments from Mar 1 to 6 as the bank is in the midst of upgrading their systems.

In a statement on Monday, the bank advised its customers to instead make payments over the counter and online before Feb 29.

"Any financing or loan repayments for personal, hire purchase, mortgage and microfinance can however be done through Automatic Teller Machines (ATM), Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), Virtual Teller Machines (VTM), Interbank Giro (IBG) and Standing Instruction (SI)," it said.

The bank added that all transactions performed within the downtime (Mar1-6) would be updated in the system after Mar 6.

"All other services remain unaffected," it said.
