PUTRAJAYA: Rehabilitated drug addicts are being offered jobs in palm oil plantations in an effort to assist them and reduce the over-­reliance on foreign workers.

The Oil Palm for Life (Opal) programme will select about 1,000 participants from the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK)’s rehabilitation centres nationwide to be placed at 20 Felda plantations.
