KUALA LUMPUR: The people must accept reality that locals, especially youths, are not keen to take on dangerous, dirty and difficult (3D) jobs, said Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

He said the move by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in challenging local youths last Sunday to handle 3D jobs was an effort to explain that foreigners were needed to handle it because the sector was not popular with Malaysians.
