THE Chinese are estimated to form less than 20% of Malaysia’s population in 2030, according to Department of Statistics Malaysia, Sin Chew Daily reported.
Department director-general Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hasan (pic) said in an exclusive interview with the daily that although there would be an expected lower population ratio of the Chinese, the community would still remain the second largest population in the country.
