PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has called for an end to the spreading of rumours about Lembaga Tabung Haji, adding that prospective pilgrims may lose their opportunity to perform the Haj because of it.
He said that stories and rumours about Tabung Haji were being spread on websites and social media for “solely personal and political interests” and that this could have adverse effects if people were to withdraw their investments from the pilgrimage fund.
