Malaysian chefs clinch second place in global event

PARIS: Malaysia won the silver medal at the Europain and Intersuc’s Les Mondial des Arts Sucre (International Confectionery Art Competition).

Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia chef Chong Ko Wai, 30, and Lau Hwei Min, 23, from Harold's Academy won second place for their impressive, whimsical Alice in Wonderland-themed tableaux of chocolate and sugar.
