Friends and family recall fond memories of outgoing Cambodian envoy

Saying goodbye: Arunrasmy giving a speech at her farewell reception as her husband Rasmey looks on.

KUALA LUMPUR: From tending to distressed domestic workers to preparing meals for visiting dignitaries from her country, Princess Norodom Arunrasmy has gone to great lengths as Cambodia’s ambassador to Malaysia. The princess, who has just ended her 12-year record stint here, took over from her husband Keo Puth Rasmey in 2004 after he was reassigned to Germany.

There were misgivings back then that the youngest daughter of former Cambodian Ruler. the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk, might not be able to pull it off.
