BAGAN DATOH: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is suggesting a change in the secondary school syllabus and curriculum of vernacular and religious schools to create a “cross-cultural education system.”

Speaking at the opening of the 64th anniversary celebrations of SMK Khir Johari here, the Deputy Prime Minister said this was necessary for young Malaysians of all ethnicities and religions to understand each other better.
