KUCHING: Sarawak wants to discuss with the Education Ministry the importance of emphasising English in schools without neglecting Bahasa Malaysia.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem plans to meet Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid on the matter, as well as to deliberate on the broader recog­nition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
