Competition Appeal Tribunal sets aside RM10mil fines imposed on both AirAsia Bhd and Malaysia Airlines

KUALA LUMPUR: The Competition Appeal Tribunal has set aside the RM10mil fine imposed by Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) on both AirAsia Bhd and Malaysia Airlines for breaching the Competition Act 2010.

The tribunal, chaired by High Court Justice Hasnah Mohamed Hashim, made a unanimous decision that there was no infringement under Section 4(2) of the act.
