DAP rep serves legal notice to trader


GEORGE TOWN: A legal notice has been served to a businessman seeking unconditional retraction and an apology over an alleged defamatory claim against DAP’s Pengkalan Kota assemblyman Lau Keng Ee.

Lau’s lawyer R.S.N Rayer said the legal notice dated Jan 29, was served to the man with a request to retract, apologise in at least three local dailies and to pay a sum of damages to his client by noon today.
