KUALA LUMPUR: The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a travel alert last week for people travelling to regions where the Zika virus transmission is ongoing.
The CDC also recommended that women who have recently travelled to these places during their pregnancy be screened and monitored for the virus.
