KUALA LUMPUR: The number of Chinese independent school students has hit a new high with 84,363 studying at 60 schools nationwide.
There was an increase of 1,755 students or 2.12% this year, compared with the 82,608 students in 2015, said the United Chinese School Committees’ Association (Dong Zong), which had also recorded a continuous growth in the number of Chinese independent school students for the past 14 years.
