MH370 team, MAS and DCA to check aircraft debris in Besut

BESUT: Experts from the MH370 investigating team, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) have arrived here Friday to inspect the two objects believed to be parts of an aircraft.

The objects, one measuring about two metres and another about 0.5 metres were found 500 metres apart from each other Thursday on the shores of Kampung Benting Lintang here.

The team of experts arrived at the Besut police headquarters about 10.30am.

Earlier, a team from the air force in Besut had visited the police headquarters to inspect the object.

The team took 30 minutes to inspect the objects and later visited the scene where the objects were found.

DCA was represented by Capt. Mior Nor Badrishah Mohamad.
