KOTA KINABALU: The two sun bears that were kept at the Tawau Hot Springs mini zoo will be handed over to the Sabah Wildlife Department this week.
“Contrary to all the conflicting press reports that one of the sun bears has been released, both animal are still at the zoo, but kept away from public view, until we can make room for them,” said the state Wildlife Department deputy director Augustine Tuuga.
