Guard foils robbery by shooting man in leg


PETALING JAYA: An attempt by a gang to rob a money remittance centre here was foiled when one of them was shot in the leg by a security guard.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said during the incident, which occurred at about 2pm yesterday, three men, wearing helmets with visors, stormed into the shop at Dataran Mentari here.
