KANGAR: The Federal Government imposed a moratorium on bauxite mining in Pahang because the people were suffering from water and environment pollution, said Datuk Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim (pic).
The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said he hoped that the Pahang government would ensure that the industry implemented the necessary measures to end the pollution.
