Sabah braces for electricity cuts spanning three days

KOTA KINABALU: Sabahans will have to brace for electricity cuts spanning three days following a breakdown at an independent power producer (IPP) plant here.

Complicating the situation is that construction of transmission lines is hampering power supply from another key IPP at Kimanis to the state grid, utility firm, Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd, said in a statement Wednesday.
