Meeting of minds: Najib engaged in discussion with Prince Mish’al after arriving in Saudi Arabia. — Bernama
PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has arrived in Saudi Arabia for a three-day working visit.
According to the Facebook page of the Prime Minister’s Office, Najib was scheduled to meet Malaysian students and professionals in Jeddah and Mecca.
He also performed the umrah after performing Maghrib prayers last night.
According to the Facebook post, Najib is expected to go to Madinah today.
“Besides visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, he will also attend a luncheon with Malaysian students and professionals at the Holiday Villa Madinah,” it said.
While in Madinah, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit the Knowledge Economic City and the Dar Al Madinah Urban and Built Heritage Museum.
Najib, who arrived in Jeddah on Saturday, was welcomed by the Governor of Jeddah Prince Mish’al Abd Majid, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Zainol Rahim Zainuddin and other senior officials of the Malaysian government. — Bernama
