Planned protest at Sungai Besi toll declared unlawful

PETALING JAYA: The planned #ShutdownSungaiBesi protest organised by Parti Amanah Negara’s Youth wing on New Year's eve has been deemed an illegal assembly by the police.

In a statement on Wednesday, Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Razimi Ahmad said the event, which is to take place at the Sungai Besi toll plaza on Thursday, is not authorised by the police and as such would be an unlawful assembly and anyone who participates in the event may be charged.
