PETALING JAYA: The year 2015 saw Malaysian politicians, including the prime minister, suing various parties for libel in relation to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
In his suits, prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that the defamatory words have implied that he had abused his power as the chairman of the Board of Advisers of 1MDB for his personal gain and is unfit to hold public office.
